The Dine Central refectory is an energetic and trendy space that brings a fresh, modern vibe to the dining experience. Vibrant design elements, contemporary materials, and bold graphic touches create a lively atmosphere that resonates with its diverse audience. The space feels dynamic and social, encouraging interaction and movement while maintaining a polished, on-brand aesthetic. It’s a place where style and functionality meet, offering a vibrant setting that enhances both everyday dining and the overall campus experience.

The Brief

The project focused on evolving the existing branding for Dine Central and applying it across a newly designed servery and seating area.

The brief included refining the visual identity, strengthening the brand’s personality, and establishing a cohesive design language that could be implemented consistently throughout the space.

The refreshed environment needed to feel welcoming, contemporary, and intuitive, with clear zoning, improved customer flow, and considered use of colour, materials, and graphics.

The Solution

The Dine Central brand was refined to create a stronger and more confident visual identity.

This evolved branding was applied across the servery and seating areas, ensuring visual consistency and a clear connection between the two spaces.

Design decisions focused on improving layout, flow, and usability, with thoughtful application of colour, materials, and graphics to support wayfinding and zoning.
